Connected Earth, founded by BT, is a web-based museum of communications, featuring BT's rich heritage of historical artefacts, documents, images and film. This is underpinned by a series of major exhibitions and displays in museums across the UK, funded by BT and featuring artefacts from the BT collections.

The history of communications can be explored on the Connected Earth website through images, photographs, animations, film and audio clips, and interactive games. The Connected Earth learning centre has unique and free educational resources for teachers and parents, and children from age 7 to 16.
