An overview of free teaching resources for you

Project Genie brings teachers a selection of free lesson plans, based around the book 'The Genie in the Bottle'. These are applicable to KS2/3 primary-aged school children and are grouped in four blocks.

The lessons exceed the requirements for teaching climate change in the National Curriculum and do not need to be taught in order but the first three in Understanding Climate Change underpin the book and are a great start.

The book can be used for group reading, family reading and as a transition resource from KS2 to KS3.

More lessons are being developed. Project Genie is also formalising competitions, prizes, games, music and more so that they can give teachers more to motivate children with, at school and at home.

Lessons are designed to ensure that all children, regardless of learning style or intellectual ability, have equal access to the most important issue of their lives – their future and their safety on the planet.
