Next Steps

The programme is currently being developed and details will appear here next term. We can however, outline some of the likely core elements to give a flavour to its shape.

  • We envisage that the resources available will be short videos, animations, live web conferences etc. that will encourage parents to coach their children.
  • There will be a resource to help young people create videos. Users will be able to upload their own content of videos and podcasts revealing their own coaching trade secrets, and personal success stories. There will be a range of topic areas leading to 2012 and opportunities to enter the material into competitions.
  • Schools will be both encouraged and supported to focus on coaching by working with parents and introducing peer coaching into the classroom.
  • To build awareness and encourage participation, we will cooperate closely with schools and other organisations (sports clubs, scouts, business organisations etc.) where coaching plays an important role.

Delivery Partners

BT will be working with a number of delivery partners to ensure the Programme is a success. Details on our partners will be published as agreements are put in place.
