BT Volunteers

What are BT Volunteers?

Nearly 3,000 trained volunteers – BT employees, pensioners, their friends and families – visit schools all over the country giving lessons, running workshops and encouraging activities which help to develop young people's speaking and listening skills.

We work with you

Using agreed lesson plans, our volunteers work with teachers at both primary and secondary level to deliver fun-packed but instructive sessions about effective communication.

BT Volunteers work with young people in schools all over the country. They run workshops to explore communication matters, offer practical assistance and support to staff and pupils, and often take on dedicated roles as school governors.
