Big Fat Voice

What is it?

Big Fat Voice is a website that is being designed, developed and managed by a panel of 17 young people. The site will act as an important, innovative and unbiased open forum for young people across the UK, and potentially worldwide, to discuss and debate their views on issues that affect and matter to them, as well as influencing and involving decision makers, opinion formers and the general public on youth and social issues.

Why Big Fat Voice?

Our Better World Campaign works to give young people a voice. Too often the views of young people are ignored and their opinions go unheard. Through Big Fat Voice we aim to provide an open, accessible platform for young people to express opinions, debate issues and learn from and about others. As a result of discussion and debate, Big Fat Voice will enable young people to stay informed, aware and open-minded.

Big Fat Voice will be run by young people for young people. While we offer support and finance, all decisions will be taken by the panel.
