The Young Citizens Action event was held at Westminster Central Hall on Thursday 10th July. Nearly 2000 young people took part in debates and discussions with top BBC journalists including Andrew Marr and Huw Edwards, business leaders such as Sir Mike Rake (Chairman of BT), and writers Hardeep Singh-Koli and others.
The aim of this unique event was to inspire the young people of London to take an active interest in politics and citizenship, and to find out what they feel are the biggest challenges faced by young adults in the 21st century.
To identify the most important issues for young Londoners we asked them:
