Event Pack

Any school can put on their own QUESTION TIME event but the 12 schools selected as finalists receive a package from BT that includes:

  • A specially designed communication skills workshop delivered by BT facilitators, focusing on communication skills for young people, related to the citizenship curriculum and the collaboration skills they need to stage their event.
  • £500 to run a local Schools Question Time event

The 2008 Challenge has now taken place but you can still download the following useful materials:

  • Challenge Guide: this will give you further information about the event
  • Event Pack: can be used independently from the Challenge to help secondary school students with opinion forming, communication and debating
  • Communications Skills Toolkit: can be used independently from the challenge with secondary and primary school students to explore values and characteristics of good debate for informed citizenship
