We are one of the founders of the Communication Trust. The purpose of the Trust is to raise awareness of the importance of speech, language and communication across the children's workforce and to enable practitioners to access the best training and expertise to support all children's communication needs.
We produce Schools Question Time in partnership with the Institute for Citizenship.
We work with this communication charity to produce training resources for early years professionals. Together we want to help pre-school children develop the skills they need to make a strong start at school and raise awareness of the vital importance of speech and language for all children, particularly those children who find it difficult.
We are working with The Guardian newspaper to create a website for young people by young people, to cover issues they care about.
We support the work of this charity which provides a safe space for children to share their emotions and fears and to develop self-esteem and coping skills.
A new collaboration between BT, The SSAT, Prescot Language College and Knowsley Secondary Partnership has developed an audit tool to check your school's communication networks. This is the Communication Mark. What's your score?
The UK Youth Parliament consists of independent, elected young people, supported by all three main political parties, as a real voice for young people on public policy. Our support for the UK Youth Parliament includes the "Circles of Influence" event where these young people discuss matters of mutual interest and benefit with influential decision-makers.
