Molly On Board
Originally a comic book, 'Molly and the Pirate' has been expanded into a series of flipcharts. Each flipchart's menu includes teacher's notes detailing how to use the materials, suggested links to the curriculum, and pictures from the story in a Word document enabling teachers and students to create their own comics or work materials.

Aimed at children in KS2, the resource helps develop good communication skills and team work, as Molly encourages her crew to be good at listening, describing, and checking understanding.
The story follows Molly's race at sea to save her grandpa's house. Along the way she meets a ghost pirate, Cap'n Bloodblister, jellyfishmen, a marooned sailor, cannibals,
a giant squid, and learns some valuable lessons about teamwork.
TThe materials can be downloaded from the zip files below and can then be accessed via a 'Molly' head icon on your desktop. The contents of the folder include:
